Small Business Development (SBD) in collaboration with Commissioner Joe Martinez, District 11 will be hosting a workshop.

March 18, 2020 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm entitled “Women Doing Business with the Public Sector”

Held at the FIU Engineering and Computing Center located at 10555 W. Flagler Street, Room EC2300, Miami, Fl 33174.

With March being the Women History month we want to focus on the women doing business with and working in the Public sector.

We have Leading Lady Panelist from Jackson Health Systems, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Miami-Dade Solid Waste Department and other Public agencies to share information on the role they play, the types of opportunities and contracts their department or organization have for small businesses and to give some best practice tips on doing businesses with the Public Sector.

We will also have success stories from some Women-Owned certified small businesses.
